"No, not usually." Asuka replied. "Why?"

"Umm...well..." he was hesitant once again to say what was on his mind. Smiling and then letting his cheeks flush red, he had digressed with his head facing the other way and then turning back to show he had calmed down enough to speak once again. "Lately, someones been acting like that. Well, they seem to be well, but they're also quite nervous around another person, but happy." he had said mostly talking about himself, but even if that was the case anyone would see right through him. He had sat as his arm was placed along his right knee that was picked up and bulging. He smiled as he looked out towards the stretch of Duel Academy.

"It's about a girl, isn't it?" Asuka asked.

Xenneth had jumped a bit since he didn't recall mentioning a girl, and didn't know if Asuka would catch on. He didn't know much about girls or even anyone else for that matter. Staying seperate in another dimension for a very long time would do things like that to you, especially if you only walked the Earth at night time with a spell limiting your time upon the land. He had simply nodded towards Asuka for his response as he kicked. "I mean, I don't know much about girls, but I thought maybe if I asked a girl herself. She'd know. You look like you're pretty smart Asuka-san. So I thought, why not ask you?"

"That's a pretty smart idea." Asuka replied. "So, what do you want to ask me?"

Xenneth had looked away from Asuka as he stared forward. He could see the Academy still so distantly, but it almost seemed like he was looking for someone, or perhaps he was seeing how others interact with each other. When it came to him, he was like an alien. He didn't even know some of the simple things when it came to acting like a normal child. Maybe Asuka did since she seemed perfectly normal herself. He had no regrets asking her a question now.
"Asuka...how does it feel to be in love with someone?" he had asked as his eyes had shown some confusion. "I don't quite know how that feels." he had added.

"I'm not sure." Asuka replied, as she looked away. "I mean, I have secret feelings for someone, but he doesn't know it yet." She wasn't sure how to tell him because she didn't want to look a fool saying it.

"Secret feelings?" He had said looking up blinking. He obviously knew what they were from the sound of them, but he didn't know exactly what she felt. It was beyond even him if what he felt were even tender feelings. Looking up to her, he had tilted his head curiously. "Well...how exactly do you feel about him?" his head had tilted in a quizzical way. "...or am I wrong...to ask this as people would rather say at a time like this 'It's none of my business?'" It was obvious he didn't know the boundary between something too personal and just free talk.

"Normally, I would say, leave me alone, but I think you should know." Asuka replied. "Whenever another girl shows interest in this boy, I will respond. Maybe not aloud, but I will." Asuka looked away again. "I think I'm in love with him."

Xenneth had turned towards the school as he stared out towarsd the people. "I see..." he had said as his eye lids had lowered and he want into deep thought. "So maybe...I'm in love with her...but...I'm not sure. I just feel so strange..." he had said as his eyes stayed that way as he was thrown in even more confusion. He wished he could be more knowledgable about his feelings, but really he wasn't sure what anything else was besides happy and then sad. He barely had shame behind anything he did, but he is easily embarassed when it comes to social interaction since he had little exprience with people then he did just sitting and talking to his floating spirit friends. He was so mixed up.

"I would like to tell him, but I don't know how to." Asuka replied. "I want to be honest with him, because of the way he's been acting, but I'm not sure he'll listen. His attitude's changed."

"It's hard...isn't it?" Xenneth had asked as he stopped kicking as he saw they were both in the same predicament. "But...no matter how much different people are, we still see them for why we like them, and even though that seems like it's gone, it's still there." Xenneth could remember someone like that. Her eyes were tender and loving, but they were cold and raspy the last time he saw them, even without the eerie glow, he knew from instinct that those weren't the eyes he knew, not those of a mother.

"I just wish he would change his attitude to the way it was when I first met him." Asuka replied. "Care-free and fun-loving."

Xenneth had tilted his head as he had listened to her. He knew how that felt, but still at least she had a chance. One person he cared about couldn't change anything because she was out of reach. He had lowered his head as he felt almost as if he was shading his dark expression from her. "...If it's best...I think you should say something, before that person is too far to reach." he had uttered before falling quiet as he sadly thought about his own problems. Someone out of reach was more difficult because it would be because of feelings left unsaid. He felt so pathetic.

"Do you know from experience or are you just saying that?" Asuka asked. She really wanted to know everything.
