It had been a while since he could remember this classroom full of people. The lighting in the room was non-existent as power was off after class. It was already another moon over Duel Academy, and yet, it was obvious no one would come around this part of the area, unless it had been because they heard the rumors of the ghost student, or they’re missing in day student, Xenneth. He had stood in the Classroom near the teacher’s podium tilting his head curiously.
“It’s been so long since I’ve had a class. My grades must be terrible! I wish I could tell them what’s going on…” he had said with a grim expression on face. It had been several months since he had vanished from school grounds and was sucked into the Realm of Light. He had to continuously cast spells when the moon was in the sky, or the starts glimmered, just to materialize a barricade over certain areas so he could walk amongst the fellow students in this dimension. He was like a ghost, only he wasn’t intangible, nor was he dead. It had hurt him deeply to know he was to be like this until he could break his infernal curse.
“I want to be who I was before…” he had said to himself as he reached clinching his heart. He couldn’t duel as much since people would ask him questions upon realizing who he was sometimes, and not many people wanted to play a game with a ghost since it’d be as scary as the Shadow Realm, but his powers did nothing of the sort. He could make it so there was no pain when playing with Real Monsters such as his Galaxy Angels by using similarities similar to the Shadow Realm, but they were completely opposite.
“I wonder…if some stuff the other students had is laying around somewhere?” he said with a smile wanting to at least depart this world with a memento before he crossed back into the Light Realm. Once again, the school was coveted in his veil of white making everything bask in a heavenly white glow, from the halls and any inanimate object of the building, to the very edges of grass that touched Duel Academy’s building. The spell was limited by zone, but wandering around the school grounds should be enough for tonight.

Saga blinked, staring outward in a daze, and blinked once again, seeing a student wandering the night and tilted her head.
"Hey.." she called out softly, walking toward the boy "What'cha doin'?"
She gave a friendly, trademark smile as she approched, her face and expression distant, aloof, yet gentle and passive as if she wouldn't hurt a fly. She held her hands behind her back, jutting her large, buxom chest forward ever so slightly, and tilting her head down in a cute little way. Her Osiris Red jacket was open, halfway zipped up to show off her white tank-top beneath it, and her skirt matched the rank of Dorm she resided in of Red, with matching heels, too.
She tilted her head a little to the side, still tilting downward, blinking her royal-blue eyes and her sandy-blonde hair shifting slightly as she held out her hand in a friendly gesture "I'm Saga."

Xenneth was startled after seeing the female figure suddenly appear from out of nowhere. It had taken him by surprise since not all that often, people wouldn’t be wondering the halls at night. It felt like he had been caught, but this girl seemed not to notice this school being strange due to the spell cast on it as of now, but she did however come off as more friendly and passive of the concept of him being any harm either. Maybe he did have some time to make a friend after all.
“Umm…Hello.” he had said as he heard her introduce her name. He was hesitant as he stared towards her hand withdrawn with his own before he lifted it. This girl was cute as all the other girls in Obelisk Blue, but he never heard of any girl that was in the Osiris dorms. It was surprising for him, but nevertheless, he had reached out his right hand to accept the girl’s hand shaking it slightly since he was nervous about meeting people since it had been so long before he got to know anyone seeing that he only appeared in this Realm at night.
“It’s nice to meet you!” he had said nodding slightly even though he was a bit nervous still. He couldn’t get over the fact that someone was wondering the halls at this time of night. There was the possibility that she was someone patrolling the area, but she didn’t bite his head off yet, so that only made him wonder some more.

Saga took his hand and gently shook it with a grin and gave a tiny giggle "You seem new? I haven't seen you before."
She withdrew her hand a moment and crossed them behind her back, staring out of one of the windows with her royal-blue, distant eyes "The moon is lovely tonight, isn't it? Full moons are always the prettiest."
Glancing back to the Ra Yellow boy, Saga grinned once again, head tilted "You seem nervous?" She paused a moment in thought and blinked, blushing a little "Ah.. I'm not patrolling or anything.. Just couldn't sleep.. for once.. eh heh heh." She scratched the back of her head lightly, as if embaressed.
For once was right, she could fall asleep faster than someone could drop a brick if she wanted to, but tonight was different for her for some reason. Her two friends weren't bickering enough to keep her awake.. but she just felt so compelled to walk about the school at night she just couldn't resist the urge. Her instincts told her something exciting could happen, and with her gambler's instincts, she place a bet on something nifty happening tonight at least.
Saga looked a once over at the boy to herself and smiled "What's your name?"

Xen had looked out towards the window as he had taken in the glimpse of the moon. He had barely noticed the sight of the moon sometimes because he was always so eager to travel around the island before the sun would take his place. It always had given him this cold feel where the moon had given him a beautiful white aura reflected from the light colors of his hair and the bead that had a strand of his hair in a twist would make it seem like a star was close to his eyes since the small burette jewel piece would give off such a bright and reflective light. Yes, It is…
He had only thought that as he stared before turning to the female figure once again and jumping slightly almost forgetting to introduce himself. “Oh! My name is Xenneth!” he said gesturing his right hand to his chest, but then smiled before letting his eyes uneasily shift to the ring of his name. “You can just call me Zen. It feels a lot better.” he had noted since his whole name wasn’t even familiar as the shortened version that had more of a familiar ring to it.

"Zen, huh? Sounds kinda nifty. Reminds me of what Japanese people do to calm themselves or find serenity. You must be pretty serene, then, huh?" the girl said with a closed-eye grin, using wordplay to try and make Xenneth a little more at ease, or loosen up.
Saga blinked, immediantly spotting the sparkling tiny bead and stared at it for a moment, entranced by it.. often distracted by such things, "Pretty.."

Xenneth had blinked thinking about that logic for a moment. He had let his eyes drift up in thought since he never thought of it like that. Most of the time, he was that sort of calm person. He’d do work with no problem, have no stress on his shoulder, and in the end result even with a curse placed upon him as of now he was more calm than ever, but it was most likely because he had friends by his side that were unworldly. Still, she was right in every aspect. “Hmm…I never thought of it like that. I guess I am…” he said with a smile placing his hands behind his back.
He had taken notice of her staring at him even after the comment. The next word made him blush a bit as he stared back at her since he was wondering did she just call him “pretty?” he had then blinked seeing the bead he used to tie some of his purple and blue tie-dye hair braid in a strand along the right side close to his front right cheek.
“Oh! My burette!” he had said drawing back a little nervous once again since he was assuming something else most likely. “It’s just something I wear since it’s shaped like a star. I like the way it sparkles like one on nights like this.” he had said turning his head to look out to the moon outside the window along with the constellation of stars.
“I always liked star gazing at night, but I guess I haven’t been looking up as I usually do. A lot has been on my mind.” he explained briefly.

Saga nodded, coming out of her reverie of the pretty, shiny object and blushed a little, rubbing hte back of her sandy blonde hair and gave a soft laugh "Sorry if I weirded you out."
She laced her fingers together in front of her and stretched her arms upward, her large chest giving a tiny bounce as she did such, dropping her hands back behind her "I'm distracted by things that either sparkle, shine or look even remotely valuable.. Bad habit, I guess you can say" She gave another tiny, nervous laugh.. she hoped she didn't sound like a theif just now.. That's not her thing. Thievery was a terrible thing to be when you spend your whole like gambling.
"I really never have a lot on my mind.. I'm laid-back.. or so I'm told at least. I like watching the stars.. I was told when I was little that I was born under a lucky star and that I should often pray for the stars for luck.." she blushed, scratching her cheek lightly, usually not this talkative, especially about herself. She pointed straight ahead, at one of the brightest stars in the sky "My mother said that star there is my Lucky Guardian. Mom was a very spiritual person.."

Spiritualists and luck. When it came to such things, Xenneth would believe anything now. Every since he was cast off into the Realm of Light, he learned there was a Realm of Darkness, the Shadow Realm to be exact, but yet, he thought all that talk of such things was rubbish. That’s was however at first, but now, those myths and urban legends he would want to study them all. His friends were a bunch of angels that would come from his deck and speak every so often, but they had their limits.
“I believe that…” he had replied to Saga and placed his hands behind his back and stared to the sky. There was nothing more to be said about how much he trusted this girl’s story now. “All of it.” he had said backing up his statement as his eyes had entwined with the sky. His gentle voice was something assuring as he had stared forward dreamingly. Things like this out of times of horror and greed made this world something so beautiful. A quote he had mostly took into account.

Saga felt her cheeks burn a little as she felt herself begin to blush. She anxiously adjusted her jacket and her white-tanktop, making her giant chest move and bounce about slightly.
"You're the first.. every one thinks I cheat when it's just me and my luck.." She said quietly, staring outwards towards teh brilliant night sky, and giving a quick glance to her side to nothing in particular, smiling as she felt soothed by a presence that wasn't there.
After a moment of silence, staring up at the star with her newfound friend, Saga turned to Zen and smiled, head tilted, her sandy blonde hair pooling at her shoulders like a shining blanket of stars, "So.. I've told a little of myself to you.. what's your story?" She smiled still and nodded to herself "Thought I understand completely if you don't want to share."

“Well…” Xen had hesitated as he had reached around grasping his wrist with his left hand and bulging out his right knee standing to be in thought as he usually would do during a duel. He wasn’t sure what to say without letting his story to sound really farfetched. He only did what he could as he forced his story turning to her with a smile. “It sounds a little silly, but I’m…” he had started to say as his sight went down towards her skirt even though he was trying to keep himself from looking at her expression if she would laugh at his story if he said it.
Pretty soon he could notice things about her like how smooth and long her legs were to the detailing of her hips from him diverting from thought to staring. It had made his cheeks lightly turned rosy red before he knew what he was doing. “Oh…” he had said turning away and staring to the burrow of the wall that met with the floor. “Sorry, I was thinking about you…” he said as his eyes softened and his voice sounded nervous.
“It’s just that, not many people would believe me if I told them, but it shows during a certain time.” He had explained as he had picked his head up and stared to the moon. “I’m not like most people…and it’s because my mother had went missing when I was young. She had done something to protect me, and now…I’m a bit different then what I used to be.” he said not being very vivid on details.

Saga felt her cheeks begin to burn as she noticed his eyes wandering down her body and down her long, strongly built legs, mostly built from running, her hands instinctively smoothing her red skirt against her wide curvy hips, bringing them in front of her body, one hand folded into the other.
Startled slightly as he mentioned he was thinking about her, she felt her cheeks rise another degree or two in temprature as she felt more blood rush to her cheeks in a blush.
She smiled her most friendly smile, speaking reassuringly "You don't seem different at all, to me. I'd place all my chips down to say nothing is silly about your story." It really wasn't like Saga to place all bets down on something, unless she really knew she was going to win a bet.. she had a feeling she might be right.
Taking a step forward to Zen and placing a tender hand upon his shoulder, giving a smile so sweet and so gentle, Saga tilted her head a little and spoke softly "Like I said, if talking about you doesn't make you comfortable.. it's okay. I understand."

“Yeah…but still…” He had began to say with a smile digressing to a straight face as he had stared out the window. His bead glistened in the moonlight once again as it swayed like a beautiful pendulum from the pose he took. Tilting his head up and then letting it hang once more as he reached to the right side of his face to stop the small jewel from rocking to and fro. He had glance from the corner of his eye to bring Saga back into his sight.
“It’s just strange to meet someone at this time of night. Usually I never get the chance to say hello to anyone since they’d usually be asleep.” he had admitted with a sly smile on his face as if he can likely laugh any minute about how funny it felt. It had been so long since his blue eyes had laid on any life face to face besides the presence of the duelists, but mostly, it was because they challenged him to a duel. It was nice to talk to someone for once.

Saga rubbed the back of her head, withdrawing her hand from Zen's shoulder and gave a little laugh, a small cute, happy sound resounding from her throat, "I guess you can call me strange then.. I'm a bit of a night owl.. My dad would take me to all the coolest casinos, and they'd only ever be open at night.. I taught myself how to pace my sleep habits so I could see all the pretty lights of the casinos, and play a little at the Blackjack tables, or the Roulette. Blackjack's my favorite though. It's a combination of lucky numbers, y'see.."
She held up her hands, holding up only seven fingers "Seven three times is 7 7 7, which is lucky, but add them together and they equal 21. Which is perfect Blackjack.. and my birthday."
Saga gave a wide grin, her royal-blue eyes glittering in the shimmering starlight and wrapped her arms together behind her head, shifting the weight of her body to her other foot as she brought her other leg behind the first. She pondered a little and thought, then standing normally, she reached into a little pocket she had sewn onto her skirt, pulling out a golden coin and a card.
"Here. I give my friends a card.. the coin's special," she said, blushing slightly. The card was a normal playing card, except it had 21 written in the spots of normal numbers, and there was small 21 hearts on the card itself. The coin was thick, a little heavy for it's small size, it didn't feel loaded, but it was definately a little heavy.
"I found the coin when I was little, I use that coin in every duel and it usually flips what I want. It's my lucky coin. I want you to have it," Saga said, voice sure, confident, yet an underlying tone of shyness.

Xenneth had laughed at the little girls statements. It was funny that she adored gaming and gambling. It was said to be a bad thing, but in her case it was reallly cute and clever. In a way, it sort of was a good fitting personality on her. A gambler that would risk everything to gain something dear, or lose everything trying. Didn't everyone take such risk these days? It only was an inspiration to have a friend like her be by him.
The card that had 21 on it was distant until he had reached out and grabbed it and held it up. He had never seen a card like it. It seemed like a good luck charm and a reminder about the brief 21 statement she just stated being her birthday. It was a small calender reminder to him as he had tilted his head to exmaine the card partially seeing it in an eye and Saga in the other. It fit her personality, but he soon had lowered the card to see the coin she offered him.
"You want me to have this?" he said as he reached and grasped the small token between two fingers. "B-but...it's your good luck charm? I'm clumsy. I might lose it." he had said modestly since he didn't really want to take something dear from anyone, even a friend as good as her. It seemed so wrong for her to confide her trust in someone so fully so early. It almost confused him.
